Recently, we announced PayPal’s partnership with Visa, showcasing our commitment to international commerce by partnering with our industry’s most relevant and important players. Today, we are proud to deliver on this commitment by announcing that, in early 2017, we will be offering US merchants the ability to accept Visa Checkout® via Braintree’s SDK, with an international roll out to follow.
With just a few lines of code, merchants will be able to easily integrate Visa Checkout, offering their customers greater choice in how they pay, in addition to faster and more secure checkout experiences than with typing a card number. By accepting Visa Checkout, Braintree merchants will be able to tap into the more than 14 million customers who have signed up for this wallet.
